Yurii Stasiuk is a sophomore in Jonathan Edwards College from Kalush, Ukraine. He intends to double-major in History and Political Science and is a Yale Journalism scholar. In the past, Yurii interned at the Ukrainian Parliament, Kyiv City Council, and Transparency International Ukraine, where he researched government transparency in Ukraine. For the past two summers, he also worked with Razom for Ukraine, a Ukrainian-American non-profit, where he was writing about Ukrainian civil society. At Yale, Yurii writes about New Haven & CT state politics for Yale Daily News and is vice president at Ukraine House, coordinating its fundraising efforts. He is interested in state building, reforms, and European integration in post-communist European countries, especially Ukraine.
