Wei-Ting Shih

Wei-Ting is a senior in Grace Hopper College double majoring in Political Science and History. She is from Taiwan and Nicaragua. As a result of her multicultural upbringing, Wei-Ting is drawn to the study of diplomacy, international relations and interstate competition. She is especially interested in the political history behind Europe’s relations with Latin America and Asia. She also enjoys learning about the development of European regional identity and institutions. Wei-Ting began studying German at Yale, and strengthened her language skills abroad at Universität Heidelberg last August as part of the Baden-Württemberg Summer Exchange Program.
