Squid Tamar-Mattis

Squid Tamar-Mattis is a PhD student in the Department of Linguistics at Yale University. His research focuses on the syntax and morphology of the Basque language, which is spoken in northern Spain and southern France, and on variation between Basque dialects. In particular, he is interested in negation, case assignment, and auxiliary verb agreement. He holds a BA in linguistics and mathematics from the University of Chicago.
