Ramsay Goyal is a senior in Morse College from Los Angeles, CA. He is an Urban Studies major and is pursuing an Education Studies Certificate. A dual UK and US citizen, Ramsay’s research focuses on transportation equity and practices on an international scale. Previously, he has spent summers as a legislative intern crafting transportation and environmental policy in the Washington, D.C. office of Congressman Jimmy Gomez (CA-34), at Cambridge University researching the UK’s sustainable transportation practices, and at Los Angeles Metro outlining long-range transportation changes to achieve carbon neutral goals. Ramsay’s senior capstone thesis will outline a transportation plan for Los Angeles before the city’s 2028 Olympic Games that draws international comparative lessons from the Barcelona 1992, London 2012, and Paris 2024 summer Olympics.
