Jorrit is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Management at the Yale School of Environment. His research focuses on sustainable business models, energy security, and access. He has a particular interest in European agricultural contexts, as well as the overall development of rural communities and landscapes in Europe. Prior to joining Yale, Jorrit gained valuable experience working at the World Bank for over three years, where he was involved in projects related to international agribusiness and climate finance. As a Dutch national, Jorrit possesses a deep understanding of the importance of climate adaptation and is driven to become an influential figure in European policymaking in the fields of agricultural and energy transformations.
