Researcher from Ukraine. I am currently doing postdoctoral research at ETH Zürich on “Infrastructure Reconstruction in Postwar Ukraine: Policy Options for a Low-Carbon and Sustainable Electricity Supply System” Studying the economic and energy model of Ukraine before the war and collecting data on the damage and functioning of the Ukranian energy infrastructure during the war. It is planned to prepare recommendations on the application of new climate-neutral technologies and European methods in the reconstruction of the Ukrainian energy system. By using facility mapping and additional information needed to rebuild the infrastructure, we reduce the impact of corruption and create a tool for investors. It is also possible to use the experience of change and work of the Ukrainian energy system during the war to form recommendations for strengthening the energy security of EU countries.
