Lizzie Mundell-Perkins is a Ph.D candidate in English specializing in 20th and 21st century British literature. Her particular interests include narrative representations of consciousness, gender and sexuality, and the phenomenology of reading. Her dissertation considers how “impressionability” as both a gendered quality of mind and narrative has shaped the female coming of age novel in the wake of British modernism.
