Dean Centa

Dean is a junior in Jonathan Edwards College majoring in Global Affairs and East Asian Studies. Through the Light Fellowship, he spent the 2022-2023 Academic Year living in Nagoya, Japan. Last summer, he spent the summer in Turkey conducting a research project about Turkey’s unique historical relationship with Japan, and its implication on modern-day policy-making between the two countries. Dean hopes to continue doing research about this topic, in addition to exploring more about the EU’s relationship with East Asia.
