Daniel Bromberg is a doctoral student at the Yale School of Public Health and a predoctoral fellow at CIRA’s NIMH Interdisciplinary HIV Prevention Training Program. Broadly, his research focuses on the implementation of medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) among incarcerated populations in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. He will be spending the 2021-2022 academic year as a Global Health Equity Scholar in Kyiv designing and piloting a decision aid for MOUD in Ukrainian prisons. Before coming to Yale, Daniel worked as a research assistant at ISGlobal at the University of Barcelona in Spain, and was a Fulbright fellow at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. His mentor is Dr. Frederick Altice.
