American Purpose recently published an interview with Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko (2005-2010) conducted by Wiktor Babinski (European Studies Graduate Fellow and PhD Candidate in the Department of History). Yushchenko is notable for his leadership during the 2004 Orange Revolution and helping cement Ukraine’s path towards Europe. Babinski’s interview focuses on the evolution of Ukrainian society and integration with Europe over the last twenty years, and Yushchenko’s thoughts on Ukraine’s future in light of Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine.
