Jason’s research interests focus on reading Francophone literature from a global perspective, especially through theories of globalization, transnationalism, and world literature. He is particularly interested in how colonial and postcolonial Francophone writing has appropriated and shaped notions of identity in metropolitan France, effectively rethinking the relation between the universal and the particular.
