European Studies Conference & Research Grant Awards Open for Applications!

October 2, 2019

European Studies Council’s Fall Semester/Winter/Spring Break Travel Awards are accepting applications to help defray travel costs for research trips or trips for conferences relating to Europe, Eurasia, or Russia. Awards will be up to $500 and will be paid as reimbursements for substantiated expenses that conform to Yale travel and expenditure policies.

Graduate students involved in the network are eligible for support to help them attend conferences related to European studies, broadly interpreted. In addition, students interested in traveling domestically or internationally for research purposes —whether that means mining state archives in Moscow for insights into the Soviet era, scouring British colonial records in London or elsewhere across the globe, etc. — may also apply for funding. All applicants must apply through the Yale Student Grants & Fellowships database.
